A deep and sumptuous full-bodied red with intense plum and blackberry aromas and flavours with a herbal twist .Yecla, in the southeastern province of Murcia, is on of Spain’s smallest wine regions. It’s vinyards sit on a high, exposed plateau, where the Monastrell grape ripens perfectly to create intense reds like this one from local wnemaker Mariano Lopez. Enjoy this well balanced wine while it’s still young or for upto three years, and pair with spicy sausages, rich curries or barbecued meats.
