This full-bodied yet refined and savoury South African red is scented with blackberry fruits and roasted herbs.Kendal Lodge is the original homestead which stood guard over the vineyards in sight of False Bay. Winemaker Leon Esterhuizen of Journey’s end crafted this red wine from grapes grown on prime Stellenboch hillside sited close to the ocean, ageing in French oak to construct its fine texture. Perfect to drink now it will keep for 2 years. This succulent red is a brilliant match for roast lamb.
